Jump-start your college and career journey with a Career Technical Education Pathway (CTE) course! 

CTE Pathways courses blend traditional academics with career-focused curriculum and activities, skill-building, mentoring, and work opportunities. Students receive hands-on training, mentoring, and internships from employers in their community. The ICT Pathway is the best place to start for students interested in any areas related to computers technology, networking cybersecurity or programming. 

The Santa Cruz County Office of Education, in partnership with  Cabrillo College, DigitalNEST, Pajaro Valley Unified School District, Santa Cruz City Schools, Scotts Valley Unified School District, and San Lorenzo Valley School, is proud to support and promote courses under the California Career Technical Education Program .  By participating in Career Technical Education Pathway (CTE) courses, students can focus on areas of personal interest, build necessary skills, and potentially develop a passion in various technical areas.  Students will have the opportunity to take CTE courses and earn college credit through  our partnership with Cabrillo College in Cybersecurity/Networking or Information Support and Services.
