Overview of Courses

Are you curious about finding a career in troubleshooting computer hardware and software? Do you want to learn more about cybersecurity or computer networking? Do you want to earn college credit while in high school, including having access to internships, career fair opportunities, and local industry leaders?

In an effort to better prepare students for future careers in specific sectors, the Santa Cruz County Office of Education, in partnership with Scotts Valley Unified School District , Santa Cruz City Schools, San Lorenzo Valley School District, and Cabrillo College, is proud to support and promote courses under the California Career Technical Education Program . By participating in Career Technical Education Pathway (CTE) courses, students can focus on areas of personal interest, build necessary skills, and potentially develop a passion in various technical areas. Students will have the opportunity to take CTE courses and earn college credit through our partnership with Cabrillo College in Cybersecurity/Networking or Information Support and Services.

With our mission to promote and provide access to equitable, accessible, and dynamic curriculum throughout Santa Cruz Country and the growing opportunities revolving around Networking and Cyber Security, we are very excited to provide this career development opportunity.
